We work closely with the local community to create developments that meet the needs all stakeholders; residents, business owners and the local workforce.
Chet is a Professor of Engineering with extensive experience winning and managing large federal, state, and foundation grants. Chet is a Professor of Engineering with extensive experience winning and managing large federal, state, and foundation grants. He has experience leading large teams, and stewarding private philanthropy to accomplish grand challenges such as developing treatments for brain and spinal injury. Chet has also secured federal funding to support social justice work, and looks forward to contributing his expertise toward affordable housing near his home on the north coast.
Aaron has been practicing real estate law in Oregon since 2004 and Washington since 2008. While in private practice, Aaron represented most of Oregon and Washington’s property management companies, real estate developers and multifamily building owners. Aaron left the private practice in 2020 and is currently in house general counsel for
Aaron has been practicing real estate law in Oregon since 2004 and Washington since 2008. While in private practice, Aaron represented most of Oregon and Washington’s property management companies, real estate developers and multifamily building owners. Aaron left the private practice in 2020 and is currently in house general counsel for Affinity Property Management, LLC based out of Portland, Oregon with properties in Oregon, Washington, California and Texas. In his spare time, Aaron enjoys surfing and walking the local beaches near his home in Cannon Beach, Oregon.
Joan brings extensive non-profit board experience through her life-long involvement in conservation and clean energy. She serves on several regional committees for the Sierra Club, as well as the board of directors of various land trusts/conservancies in her home state of California.
Jane began grew up in Rockaway and Portland. She began working on affordable housing in the early 70’s while in the Boston area. Upon returning to Portland, she managed 8 properties for her father, Neil Kelly. Starting in the mid 80’s she purchased, renovated and managed 20 properties that included two four unit properties, two duplexes a
Jane began grew up in Rockaway and Portland. She began working on affordable housing in the early 70’s while in the Boston area. Upon returning to Portland, she managed 8 properties for her father, Neil Kelly. Starting in the mid 80’s she purchased, renovated and managed 20 properties that included two four unit properties, two duplexes and a commercial building. In the 90’s Jane developed in partnership with the City of Portland and State of Oregon, 40 units of affordable housing, and continued to manage the property hands-on until the Spring of 2022. She brings extensive expertise to the NCHS board in development and management of affordable housing.
